Scott D. Litwack, Ph.D. is a staff psychologist at the Boston VA Healthcare System in the Center for Returning Veterans, as well as in the PTSD Clinic and Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program as a PTSD-SUD specialist, and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Boston University School of Medicine. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology. Following internship, he completed a postdoctoral clinical research fellowship in the Behavioral Sciences Division of the National Center for PTSD. His clinical and research interests are in the areas of assessment and treatment of PTSD and its comorbidities, particularly PTSD-SUD comorbidities, diversity and inclusion, dialectical behavior therapy, and relapse prevention.
