What Schwartz Means to Me: Reflections on Compassion and Growth
Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 12 - 1 pm
Description:
Inpatient psychiatric treatment can be stressful for both the patients and the providers. Our clinical teams at McLean Hospital continue to provide high-quality, compassionate care in an ever-evolving healthcare system. Several members of our team have presented at Schwartz Center Rounds in recent months, and this course offers an opportunity to hear from them again as they share reflections on how their approach to compassionate care has grown and the lessons learned since previous rounds' presentations. Social work and chaplaincy will discuss the ongoing professional and personal pressures of our work, and they will reflect on the impact presenting at Schwartz Rounds has had on them.
