Feyza Marouf joined the MGH Department of Psychiatry in 2008 after completing both her psychiatric training and fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Cornell, where she served as chief resident and was mentored by Dr. George Alexopoulos. At MGH, she has been an outpatient psychiatrist in the geriatric clinic in addition to an inpatient attending on Blake 11, reflecting an interest in both acute and long term care settings. Throughout her time at MGH, she has been actively involved in medical student and resident education, and was honored to receive the Harvard Medical School PCE teaching award in 2011. She teaches and supervises psychiatry residents in geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy. In 2015, after serving as the MGH site director for several years, she was named the program director of the Partners Healthcare Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship.
