Stanwood Chang
Tai Chi Instructor, Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital
Stanwood Chang studies Yang style tai chi with Masters Peter Wayne and Dana Buck, Sun style tai chi with Master Thomas Duterme, and Chen style tai chi with Master Wang Haijun. He is a graduate of the Teacher Training program at the Tree of Life Tai Chi Center, and is now Program Director for the Eight Active Ingredients of Tai Chi Teacher Training program. In addition to two of his own tai chi schools (Sun style and Chen style), Stanwood teaches at Massachusetts General Hospital (Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Cheng-Tsui Integrated Health Center and Brain Fit Club). He also teaches in a number of medical studies exploring the benefits of tai chi for cardiovascular disease, COPD and the elderly.
