The Comprehensive Healing Conference 2026

Somerville, MA US
October 5, 2026 to October 6, 2026

We invite you to join us at the MGB Assembly Row for the Comprehensive Healing Conference!

We invite you to attend the Comprehensive Healing Conference! Most healthcare professionals receive little training in integrative healing modalities—yet patients are increasingly seeking them. The Comprehensive Healing Conference bridges that gap. Join us at MGB Assembly Row, October 5–6, for two days where evidence meets experience. Learn directly from leading experts, experience modalities firsthand, and leave equipped to confidently discuss and integrate healing practices with your patients and colleagues.

A dynamic gathering for healthcare professionals to explore and experience whole-person healing practices through presentations of scientific research and experiential learning. Grounded in clinical evidence, professional expertise, and cutting-edge innovations, this 2-day conference offers access to some of the leading thinkers, researchers, and practitioners who will share findings and recommendations to support emotional, physical, and psychological healing within diverse clinical settings.

Experiential Learning You Won’t Find Elsewhere

  • Hands-on rotations letting you try acupressure, sound healing, grounding practices, tai chi, yoga therapy, breathwork, tapping, reiki, energy healing, and gratitude journaling—not just theory, but direct experience.
  • Special sessions like “The Science and Practice of EFT & Tapping” with Nick Ortner and faculty from MGH and Harvard.
  • “InterPlay: Unlocking Story, Movement, and Voice” — reconnect movement, creativity, and clinical resilience.

Breakouts Designed for Immediate Impact

Choose from targeted tracks each afternoon, including:

  • Integrating Tech & Wearables for neurobiology and healing.

  • Understanding the Emotional Basis of Chronic Pain.
  • Prescribing Movement and Cooking & Nutrition for Healing with leaders like Beth Frates, MD, and David Eisenberg, MD.
  • Breathwork for Health and Resilience with David Magone and Susan Gabrieli, PhD.

Target Audience

This conference welcomes healthcare professionals with a strong background or interest in integrative health and holistic care, and those curious about whole-person healing and wanting to broaden their skill set. Through this conference, healthcare practitioners will be able to deepen their knowledge around whole-person healing modalities and learn how to apply this to discussions with their patients and other healthcare providers. Together, through thoughtful presentations and hands-on sessions from renowned experts, we will explore evidence-based practices and strategies that can be woven into clinical care to further healing and improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze how whole-person and integrative approaches combine conventional, lifestyle, and complementary therapies.
  • Evaluate scientific evidence supporting integrative practices such as EFT, Tai Chi, energy healing, and breathwork.
  • Demonstrate practical skills in integrative modalities for clinical and self-care use.
  • Assess psychosocial, emotional, and lifestyle factors in chronic disease and healing.
  • Apply integrative strategies that promote stress resilience, lifestyle change, and patient well-being.
  • Compare innovations in health technology and evidence-informed practices to advance integrative care.
  • Examine the biological mechanisms (e.g., microbiome, mitochondria) that link integrative practices to health outcomes.
  • Evaluate and apply integrative approaches—including creative expression (story, movement, and voice), lifestyle-based movement prescriptions, culinary and nutritional strategies for healing, and energy healing practices—to enhance patient care, promote self-care, and advance whole-person healing in clinical and community settings.
  • Analyze and apply evidence-informed practices—including EFT/tapping, Tai Chi, breathwork, energy healing, and other approaches to addressing the emotional basis of chronic pain—to advance whole-person healing by fostering resilience, regulating mind-body processes, and integrating diverse healing modalities into clinical and community care.
