Mass General Brigham Academic Medical Centers Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds 2025-2026 (Oceans Healthcare)

September is here, and the newly integrated Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds and Morbidity and Mortality conferences will be starting this fall.

The integrated 2025-2026 BWH and MGH Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds Series will commence on Thursday, September 11, 2025. As communicated earlier, this year's integrated Grand Rounds will continue to be held on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 pm. Most weeks, there will also be an opportunity for small group discussion with the speaker from 1:00-1:30 pm.

Grand Rounds will be a hybrid with in-person speakers alternating campuses each week and a webinar broadcast for remote attendees. The host campus, on-site viewing location, and webinar link will be included in the weekly announcements.

All department members are invited to attend Grand Rounds at either campus or virtually via webinar:

  • On the BWH campus, Grand Rounds and the small group discussions will be held in the Marshall Wolf Conference Room (60 Fenwood Rd, 3rd floor). Wolf will also be a viewing location for Grand Rounds when the speaker is not on-site at BWH. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
  • On the MGH campus, Grand Rounds will be held in the Ether Dome, and the small group discussion will take place in the Hackett Room with lunch provided. There will not be an on-site viewing location at MGH when the speaker is not on-site at MGH.
  • Here is the webinar link that will be available for anyone working remotely or who prefers to join virtually: Webinar Registration - Zoom

The Grand Rounds schedule for 2025-2026 can be viewed here: Fall Schedule

Psychiatry Grand Rounds is a weekly round attended by psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other allied professionals who seek to learn empirically supported treatments and evidence-based pathophysiology of psychiatric illnesses. Given the complexity of psychiatric illnesses and ongoing new developments in psychiatric medicine and neuroscience, Grand Rounds is an excellent opportunity for mental health providers to learn about pertinent topics related to their fields of interest. Grand Rounds is also designed to facilitate discussion and collaboration amongst departmental faculty as well as outside speakers, by sharing ideas and exploring new research findings to stimulate future research.
