Comprehensive Review for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (IHP)
This course is intended to prepare psychiatric-mental health nurses for the ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BCTM) certification exam. This course is structured to align with ANCC’s blueprint for the certification exam. Course content is divided into four modules: Assessment and Diagnosis; Planning; Implementation; and Evaluation.
Within each module, there are a series of lessons (outlined below). Each lesson includes learning objectives, video recordings of content (with corresponding slides), required external enrichment resources (e.g., videos, websites, articles), critical thinking exercises, and knowledge checks. Completion of each lesson and its corresponding knowledge check within a module is required to be awarded the module’s continuing education hours. Upon completion of all four modules, learners complete a post-evaluation to receive their Certificate of Completion.
