4th Annual Carol W. Taylor Lecture in Psychiatry Grand Rounds: An Integrated Action Framework for Health Equity Impact
This lecture will present an action framework for advancing health equity by integrating: 1) clinical innovation responsive to community-led priorities; 2) strategic translation of public health research into effective community advocacy; and 3) application of social justice principles in clinician education. The session will emphasize culturally tailored strategies that address social determinants of health, in order to reduce disparities and improve clinical outcomes.
This program is intended for: Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Fellows, Residents, Interns and Nurses
At the end of this presentation participants will be able to:
- Describe the role of community-led priorities in driving clinical innovation to improve health outcomes
- Explain the strategic translation of public health research into effective community advocacy
- Discuss the application of social justice principles in clinician education to advance health equity
