Jasmine Jack, MD
Originally from Houston, Texas, I pursued my undergraduate studies in human biology at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, before earning my medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. After medical school, I completed three years of psychiatry residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, where I specialized in a Transitional Age Youth track. This additional training gave me the opportunity to address the unique challenges young adults face in the shift from childhood to adulthood, deepening my commitment to supporting patients during these pivotal years. Currently, I am a first-year fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry at the MGH/McLean Hospital system in Boston, Massachusetts, which I chose for its broad clinical training, strong mentorship, abundant resources, and warm, supportive environment. My professional interests include first-episode psychosis, the interaction between physical and mental health, and community psychiatry, with a focus on providing holistic care for youth. After the fellowship, I am considering a career in consult liaison work, college mental health, or community psychiatry, where I hope to continue making a meaningful impact on young lives.

Leah W. Morelli, MD
I am a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a clinical focus in consultation-liaison work. I am an attending psychiatrist with the MGH Pediatric Consultation-Liaison service, the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and the MGH Acute Psychiatry Service. The interface between psychiatry and medicine has long been a passion of mine which led me to apply to the MGH/McLean combined adult and pediatrics residency and fellowship program. This afforded me the opportunity to complete my medicine rotations within pediatrics and gain specialized knowledge about the unique challenges medically ill children face, and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, which has informed my current clinical roles. I am particularly interested in the overlap between psychiatry and neurology including neuropsychiatric manifestations of disease and functional neurological disorders.
In addition to clinical work, I have a longitudinal focus in education starting in college where I served as a teacher’s assistant for a behavioral neurobiology course, and then in medical school where I developed a curriculum for a new course promoting resilience and empathy in medical students, and in residency and fellowship where I participated in the Clinical Educator Program and published several book chapters. I continue to work in a teaching role through formal lectures and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students within psychiatry as well as teaching pediatric residents their core psychiatry curriculum.
