Learning Objectives

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  • Describe and identify skin lesions properly so that they can more effectively consult dermatologists.
  • Identify basic dermatology problems, both the common and the acute/dangerous that are emergencies.
  • Manage basic dermatology problems in their own practices and know when to refer to a specialist.
  • Demonstrate cultural competency in dermatology.
