Week 1: Key Characteristics of Stress (July 2021)

Week 1 provides an overview of the key characteristics of stress and its importance in health outcomes. It presents a review of the relaxation response as the counterregulatory state to stress and teaches a simple relaxation response elicitation while detailing the evidence for its effectiveness in promoting health and helping to manage chronic stress related illnesses.
