Certified Peer Support Specialist

Michael T. Manley, CPS is a Peer Support Specialist, who works in four different residential programs within the VA Boston Healthcare System including substance abuse treatment programs, a domiciliary and a women’s PTSD program. Michael received his Peer Certification in 2015 through the Transformation Center in Boston. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University, and is one semester away from a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social from Boston College. Michael’s passion for Veterans is evident and he assists individuals who face any number of substance abuse or mental health issues. Helping Veterans find and keep sobriety is of paramount importance to him, along with assisting Veterans in finding employment.
