Annual Psychodynamic Case Conference 2025

Saturday, January 25, 2025

The psychodynamic case conference is an annual training to enhance knowledge in the clinical field, especially through discussion around insight-oriented approaches to complex cases. Psychodynamic theory approaches case conceptualization of understanding in-depth unconscious and conscious processes related to one’s sense of self, interpersonal relatedness, defense mechanisms, and attachment styles. This conference offers a multifaced approach to a clinical case. A presenter will read a clinical case write up, then following the write up the discussants will each read their written conceptualization of the case. This will then be followed with a Q and A from the audience.

This year's conference will be held live in person at O'Keefe Auditorium on the main MGH campus and live-streamed via Zoom.

You must register at mghcme.org in order to obtain your CE for attending either version of this course.
